Husband and wife team Anastasia and Joshua Basche first met working together in 2001 on a terrible direct-to-video feature film set.  For over 15 years, Joshua and Anastasia built distinguished and successful careers in the entertainment industry.  Joshua focused on production camera work and cinematography until finally landing in post-production, performing editorial work for such prestigious companies as the VFX driven commercial studio Motion Theory, video game giant Electronic Arts, and international ad agency Draft FCB.  Anastasia earned her MFA in writing and directing from Columbia College and co-founded Pompous Cat Studios with Joshua producing.  Under the Pompous Cat moniker, Anastasia wrote and directed the award-winning short film “Frankenkinder” and the Off-Broadway musical “Tambo,” awarded “Best Musical” by The West Village Music Theater Festival.  Craving the opportunity to work together again, Anastasia and Joshua wrote their first feature, the supernatural thriller “Severed Souls.”
